Sister Barbara Sudol, a Sister of the Holy Family of Nazareth, lives in Staten Island, NY, where she teaches English on the Staten Island campus of St. John's University in New York.

She entered Nazareth in Philadelphia, PA in 1960, and following her perpetual vows, Sister taught in various levels of education. In 2002, she received her Doctor of Arts Degree from St. John's University in New York. She was contacted by a publishing company in Germany, requesting to publish her dissertation, Mystical Elements in the Poetry of T. S. Eliot. The book was published in August, 2008, and is now selling in Germany over Amazon.De, in Canada, Austria, and Bulgaria at ABEBooks.com.
