Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life, has been the guiding principle of Sister Jana's religious life for the past twenty-five years.  On this occasion of her Silver Jubilee of Religious Life, Sister has once again recommitted herself to following this ideal. 

Thanks to the willing help of the Sisters in the Generalate Community, all was in readiness for the celebration: chapel decorations, musical selections, Liturgical preparations, evening program arrangements, fully contributed to a beautiful celebration in gratitude for twenty-five years of faithful service to Our Lord. 

Following Morning Prayer, joyful wishes and greetings were extended in verse and song to our jubilarian. Father Miroslaw Tykfer, a friend of Sr. Jana, was the main celebrant of the late-morning Liturgy.  Concelebrants also included friends from different periods in Sr. Jana's years of ministry. 

As the day faded into evening, we were invited to a very interesting recalling of events woven around Sr. Jana's uncle, Bishop Anthony Baraniak, who was a frequent guest in our Mother House on Via Machiavelli.  Through gleanings from our House Chronicles, Sister Konstancja developed a creative power point presentation highlighting Bishop Baraniak's time spent with the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth in Rome. 

And so, the day of joyful celebrating came to a close.  All gave thanks once again for God's Faithful Love to one of His Faithful Servants.  Sister Jana, thank you for your dedication to Nazareth.
