Sisters Directors and Representatives of the AHF gathered in Rome
From June 12–17, 2025, the General House of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth hosted the International Meeting of the Sisters Directors and Representatives of the Association Holy Family for the second time. The event brought together 44 representatives (including children) from the USA, Australia, the Philippines, France, Poland, and Belarus. The meeting allowed AHF members and the Sisters to discuss new challenges, share their experiences, and discern ways to further develop the Mission.
The meeting combined lectures on the history and charism of the Congregation, conferences dedicated to the Catholic Church’s teaching on the family, various forms of sharing reflections on AHF-related issues, and a pilgrimage to the Holy Door and the Four Major Basilicas of Rome. The meeting aimed to create a broader perspective for the AHF representatives in their process of discerning the Mission, fostering openness to the Holy Spirit and to one another.
Along with the members of the AHF, the Superior General, Sr. Angela Maria Mazzeo, together with the Sisters of the General Council, actively participated in the meeting. It was a valuable opportunity for each AHF representative to directly share important matters with the members of the General Council.
The first International Meeting of the Sisters Directors and Representatives of the AHF took place at the General House in Rome in June 2022. This is an initiative of the General Administration, which aims to deepen collaboration between the Congregation and the AHF. It helps to find answers to modern challenges and to carry out the Mission in today’s world.
