On September 23, 2025, the school community of Nazareth Academy Grade School in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania, US) welcomed some very special guests: Sister Angela Marie Mazzeo, CSFN, Superior General; Sister Lucyna Fraczek, CSFN, Treasurer General; and Sister Loretta Theresa, CSFN, President of MMI. Both Sister Angela and Sister Lucyna traveled from Rome, Italy, to visit the sponsored ministries in Philadelphia.
Principal Jayda Pugliese, Sister Yvette, and Vice Principal Rachel Merryman led the VIPs on a tour of the school, where they were warmly greeted by faculty and students. To mark this special occasion, Ms. Pugliese presented the Sisters with a community-funded donation in support of an international CSFN-sponsored ministry, such as those in Ghana or Chile—furthering the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth’s mission of service to families around the world.
May God continue to bless the Sisters during this 150th Jubilee Year of faithful dedication to families and as well as the mission of Nazareth Academy Grade School. We would like to thank the School Administration for the warm welcome and for helping us further our mission of service to families!
