On Sunday, September 27, 2025, our sisters from the community in Loreto: Bogusława, Anna Chiara, Rozmaria, Noela, Renata, and Milena took part in the diocesan jubilee celebrations for consecrated persons. After Archbishop Fabio Dal Cin of Loreto welcomed those gathered, the monks, nuns, and consecrated persons were invited to participate in a communal prayer, which was preceded by a catechesis given by Br. Roberto Pasolini, preacher of the Papal Household.
The main theme of his reflection was returning to the Father’s house, living a simple life in accordance with our vows, without expecting or demanding great things. Constantly saying YES, like Mary, without claiming the right to predict the future; always being pilgrims of hope with no security other than entrusting ourselves to the abundant mercy of our Father. To feel truly like children of a Merciful Father at home, respecting our limitations, our histories, our weaknesses, our fragility. To try to do things TOGETHER, at the community level.
At noon, the main solemn Eucharistic celebration, broadcast online, was presided over by His Excellency Archbishop Loreto Fabio Dal Cin. In his homily, preceded by the Gospel of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the celebrant drew attention to three realities: the cross, the Gospel, and the present moment in history, which are meant to transform the lives of those called and help them become the best version of themselves in the image of God.
It was a moment of prayer, communion, celebration, and gratitude for the gift of consecrated life in the Church, in the “House of YES.” At the end of the celebration, everyone went to dinner at the Apostolic Palace restaurant.
