On October 7, 2025, the first house of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth in Santiago de Chile was officially opened. On behalf of the Superior General and the entire Congregation, Sr. Speranza, a general counselor, presented Sr. Michaela, Sr. Bożena, Sr. Linda, and Sr. Karolina with missionary crosses, along with the mandate to go forth and proclaim the Gospel to all creation, spreading the Kingdom of God’s Love among themselves and the families of South America.
During their first days, the Sisters dedicated time to getting to know the people of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, where the convent is located, as well as familiarizing themselves with their new surroundings. On Saturday, they also participated in the diocesan Family Jubilee.
May God be praised at the beginning of this Chilean mission.
