for Superiors and Formators in Olsztyn near Częstochowa
From August 27 to 31, 2026, an in-person formation workshop for superiors and formators took place at the retreat house in Olsztyn near Częstochowa, concluding a year-long formation program. The meeting brought together sisters serving in communities across Loreto, Ghana, Chile, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Belarus, and Croatia.
These days were marked by an atmosphere of openness and mutual sharing of experiences from ministry across varied cultural, social, and pastoral contexts.
The program integrated practical skills with deeper reflection. Workshop sessions led by Sr. Władysława Krasiczyńska (Sister of St. Joseph) and Sr. Maria Santus focused on relational competencies and synodal leadership within the community. In addition, Fr. Michał Deja, OFM Cap, led sessions dedicated to the writings of the Mother Foundress, helping the sisters interpret them in the context of 19th-century spirituality to rediscover the Congregation’s identity and the living relevance of its charism.
This in-person gathering provided an opportunity to connect the topics explored throughout the year with the day-to-day realities of community life. The sisters return to their local communities equipped with practical tools, shared insights, and a renewed sense of mutual support for the upcoming apostolic year.
