On August 21, 2021 in Nowogródek, Sr. Imelda professed her perpetual vows into the hands of Sr. Filotea Tichonowicz, Provicial Superior. Sister took the mystery: of Crucified Love. Most Rev. Aleksander Kaszkiewicz was the main celebrant of the solemn Eucharist.
Grateful to God for Sr. Imelda’s life and vocation, we ask for her joy in her daily commitment to God and for all our Sisters in Belarus.
On August 15, 2021, Sr. Anna Maria and Sr. M. Zofia professed their first vows into the hands of Sr. Teofania Migowska, Provincial Superior. The ceremony was held in Ostrzeszów, the novitiate house of Warsaw Province.
The Mass was celebrated by Most Rev. Damian Bryl, the bishop of Kalisz diocese. We thank God for the gift of these Sisters’ vocation and we ask for the graces needed for them and their families.
On August 14, 2021, in the Shrine of St. Joseph in Kalisz, three Sisters professed their perpetual vows into the hands of Sr. Teofania Migowska, Provincial Superior of the Most Holy Name of Jesus Province:
Sr. M. Anastazja of Jesus, the Incarnate Word
Sr. M. Emma of Jesus, who is the Way, the Truth and the Life
Sr. M. Veritas of the Holy Spirit, the Fire and Bond of Love
The Mass was celebrated by Most Rev. Damian Bryl, the bishop of Kalisz diocese.
Let us thank God for the dedication of our Sisters’ lives to God and ask for the graces needed to follow their Beloved faithfully.
On August 1, 2021, the anniversary of the heroic death of our Blessed Martyred Sisters of Nowogródek, Sr. Anna professed her perpetual vows in the provincial house in Krakow. She chose the mystery: of the Holy Spirit the Giver of Life. Fr Ireneusz, OSPPE from Krakow was the main celebrant of the solemn Eucharist. Sr. Angela Marie Mazzeo, Superior General, received the vows on behalf of the Congregation and the Church.
We wish Sr. Anna faithful love and openness to God’s guidance in her daily life.
A beautiful ceremony of the profession of first vows of Sr. Izabela, Sr. Klara and Sr. Karmela took place on July 31, 2021 in Corpus Christi parish church.
Sr. Angela Marie Mazzeo, Superior General received the vows.
We pray for our Sisters for the grace of faithfulness and joy in their surrender to the Lord.
On November 21, 2020, the day that the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth celebrate the death anniversary and feastday of its Foundress, Blessed Mary of Jesus the Good Shepherd, another of her daughters was added to the Congregation’s family of finally professed Sisters.
In St. Joseph Vietnamese Catholic Church in Grand Prairie Texas, Sr. M. Josephine Garrett, professed her Final Vows, witnessing to those gathered her desire to whole-heartedly respond to God’s call with her forever “Yes”. The Vow Ceremony and Mass was presided over by Bishop Strickland from the Diocese of Tyler, Texas, where Sr. Josephine currently lives and ministers. Numerous other priests who have impacted Sister’s life and journeyed with her concelebrated the Mass.
Despite the ongoing Covid pandemic, Sister was joined by numerous family and friends who were overjoyed to share this day with her. Sr. Angela Marie Mazzeo, Superior General, after arriving from Rome, was present to happily accept Sister’s vows on behalf of the Congregation. Sr. Kathleen Maciej, Provincial Superior, along with some of the provincial councilors, had also journeyed from Des Plaines, Illinois to welcome, support and pray with Sister Josephine.
All in all it was a joyous day, and a beautiful witness to the actions of Love given, received and returned. Let us pray for Sr. Josephine as she continues to faithfully live out her commitment to God in her Nazareth family.
