It has almost become a tradition that Sr. Angela Marie celebrates her feastday in unusual circumstances. This time it was also a special place: the steppes of Kazakhstan.
Sr. Angela Marie celebrated her feastday on March 25, 2022 with the Sisters in Zielony Gaj. First there were wishes and a song, and then a trip to the salt lake… on the steppe. This is an unusually beautiful place. Then the Sisters visited the local kolkhoz, saw modern equipment and old antique cars. In the afternoon they took part in two Masses and two services of the Stations of the Cross: at the parish branch in Novogrechanovka and at the parish in Zielony Gaj. Everywhere parishioners shared wishes for Sr. Angela. After the liturgy Sisters went to see the sunset.
After this brief celebration, Sr. Angela Marie continues her visitation in Kazakhstan. Also during this time there will be an online visitation of two communities in Russia.
On March 26, the Sisters traveled to Kellerovka, along the way visiting the shrine at Ozjornoye and enjoying the austere beauty of the Kazakh steppes.
On March 27 Sr. Angela Marie began her visitation in Tajnsha. Afterwards she will go to Lisakovsk.
