The General Conference, a meeting of the Sisters of the General Administration with all the Provincial Sisters, took place in Chicago form 7 to 13 September, 2023. This time the meeting was held in the USA, at the Provincialate of the Holy Family Province in Chicago.
During the Conference, the Sisters presented the most important events, joys and challenges of their respective Provinces during the past year, addressed the implementation of the decrees of the last General Chapter, and together listened to the voice of the Holy Spirit in order to follow the path that He wants to lead us, as well as to respond to the calls that the Church addresses to us.
The Sisters had the opportunity to visit sites related to our Mother Foundress and the beginnings of our mission in America, and learned about the history of our mission and ministry there.
It was also a time of shared prayer and joy of being together with the Sisters of the region.
