Chapter 2015, July 16-18th

A General Chapter is a lot of work! It also offers us a chance to get to know each other in new and different ways, whether by sharing meals together, trying to learn new words in our different languages or by faith sharing in our small groups. One of the best ways to break down barriers is to play together! On the past two Saturday evenings, Chapter delegates and staff, along with the Sisters from the Generalate community joined together for an array of activities that highlighted the many cultures of our provinces, regions and mission homes through songs, dances, games and other fun activities producing many moments of joy and laughter for everyone. It is said that a community that PRAYS together STAYS together. We must also add that a community that PLAYS together STAYS together! Surely we will all return to our home countries enriched by all that we have experienced together!
